Domenic Pittsburgh guitarist Domenic Fusca now calls New Orleans home and is a Frenchmen Street regular. Although Get Your Soul Right is generally a blues album, strip away the blues dressings and “City Girl” or “These Hearts” could be pop or country covers. I hear Bruce Springsteen covering “Time.” I’d like the CD better without the spoken word sections; otherwise these songs are well-written and worth investigating.

Cadillac Willy
Cadillac Willy was voted "Best Jam Band" at the 2012 Beachcomber Music Awards and their drummer, Shawn "Shack" Shackelford was named "Best Drummer". The Band is based out of Destin Florida and their influences include Classic Rock and Jam Bands like Widespread Panic, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead. Cadillac Willy also enjoys playing funky tunes by folks like James Brown, Stevie Wonder, The Funky Meters, Curtis Mayfield, and Bill Withers. If the ladies start dancing, the band may bust out some rap jams or old school Michael Jackson.
